Inanovate Product Overview

Inanovate has developed a breakthrough approach to protein bioassays, known as the Bio-ID: A highly sensitive and accurate biochip platform that processes bioassays in real-time. In direct comparison tests to leading competition, the Bio-ID demonstrated over 10,000 fold improvements in dynamic range, over 10 fold improvements in sensitivity, over 2 fold improvements in reproducibility, and over 4 fold reduction in platform costs. By enabling significant advances in the accuracy, complexity and cost of bioassays, the Bio-ID will play a leading role in the development and implementation of next generation diagnostics and therapeutics. Longitudinal Assay Processing and Analysis
The Bio-ID is the world’s first screening platform to use ‘Longitudinal Assay’ processing and analysis; wherein samples and reagents are iteratively flowed across bioassays as measurements of the fluorescent intensity of each region (spot) are taken to provide insights into the nature of protein interactions over time. The Longitudinal Assay both combines and enhances the benefits of labeled screening methods with those of label free systems. Delivering end users with sensitive (sub pg/ml limits of detection), kinetic data on protein interactions in a low-cost, high-throughput, high-density format; eliminating the requirement for resource and time consuming assay development procedures, while helping distinguish ‘non-specific’ (false) signals, from ‘specific’ (true) signals within a bioassay.

Dilation Pumping: High Precision Flow Control
Inanovate has developed a proprietary flow control method to precisely control the flow rate of nano-liter volumes of samples and reagents across the assay surface. This patented ‘dilation pump’ technology significantly improves assay throughput, and reduces complexity and cost.

Nano-particle Surface Technology
Inanovate overcomes the limitations of existing biochip surface technology by using many thousands of nano-particles to ‘anchor’ individual proteins to an array surface. The nano-particles influence the spacing, density and orientation of proteins across an array surface; helping optimize and control the activity/responsiveness of proteins throughout an assay, improving both assay sensitivity (sub pg/mL) and reproducibility (sub 5% assay to assay CV’s).

Substrates

Using proprietary nano-scale surface patterning technology, Inanovate has developed the leading surfaces in the world for handling and working with proteins. Inanovate's substrate platform, called the i-Slide™, leverages nano-scale surface structures alongside proprietary surface chemistry, to optimize protein immobilization and function. The i-Slide's performance has been validated to sensitivity levels as low as 0.02 pg/mL with accompanying CV values as low as 2%. These performance breakthroughs position the i-Slide as the world's premier surface for protein micro-array experiments.
